Classrooms at Topsail Montessori are exciting laboratories of discovery where children thrive using hands-on materials in multi-age groups.
Our mission is to prepare children for success in the 21st century, to be confident, responsible, compassionate and respectful global citizens and contributing members of society. What aspects of a Montessori education make this happen? The children are active participants in their education. Daily, their natural curiosity and passion are ignited, opening the doors of exploration and mastery of concepts. Because of their ownership in their learning and ability to make choices, students concentrate deeply and move with care and purpose through the learning environment. Collaborative problem solving sparks meaningful discussions and deepens understanding of another person’s perspective. These daily experiences build initiative, a strong understanding of community and mutual interdependence and an inclusive attitude.
